Sometimes You Feel Like A Nutt…

…sometimes you don’t.

According to the Miami Herald, it looks as though David Lee definitely doesn’t feel like a Nutt. After following Houston Nutt to Oxford, Mississippi just a few weeks ago, Lee has taken a job in Miami as the quarterbacks coach working under former boss Bill Parcells.

Apparently it didn’t take long to decide that it would be better to work for a team that does not even have a head coach yet than to stick it out with ole’ Houston. Aw, that’s kinda sad.

Ha ha. He’s not the first to abandon HDN. Louis Campbell also defected for Miss State.

It’s fairly obvious that these coaches only left town because they knew BobbyP wouldn’t keep them on staff. I don’t blame ‘em for taking an automatic job, but bolting for greener pastures the second they had a better option.

Lee knew his offensive style wasn’t to Nutt’s liking. Campbell is stepping into a better role at Miss. State since their defensive coordinator is now gone.

How’s that bed you made, Nutt?
