According to John O’Neill, the director of addictions services at the Menninger Clinic in Houston, Texas, many of us suffer from technology addiction. Much like an alcohol or drug addiction, a technology addict prefers their drug of choice (in this case a computer or phone) in lieu of spending time with loved ones.
I laughed this off at first. Then I realized that I’m sitting in front of my computer at home instead of hanging out with my girlfriend… who’s sitting right next to me. Sorry, babe.

You can count me addicted too. I actually watched a movie about this. It’s called LOL. This movie is bad though so don’t watch it. Don’t watch LOL. Go outside. Play some sports. Woop, gotta run. My iPod is ringing.

He was caught sitting in front of his computer, talking on the phone thru a bluetooth instead of spending time with his teammates. Several of the guys complained to “the coach” about how he was developing a better relationship with his technology devices than with the teammates. “The Coach” called to discuss the problem. He has been in isolation for two days and we intend to slowly introduce teammates until he recovers.
