The show was decent. I'm not really a big fan of anything post-Colour and Shape, so I was particularly enthused to hear "This is a Call" and "Big Me" from the self-titled album. Also, a still-bleach-blond-but-50-pounds-heavier Pat Smear was there...for some reason...which was kind of weird, but cool...for some reason.

And yes, the hogs were definitely called on a couple of occasions; I find this rather unsurprising, however, as (a), most Foo Fighter fans are d-bags, and (b) most U of A students are d-bags.

I heard people "called the hogs" to get them to come back for the encore. Is this true? If it is, can I just say...How embarrassing! This seems to be a trend that is getting a little out of hand. It's hokey but acceptable at games. It's at least a cheer and it's really annoying to opposing fans (bonus). But at a concert??? Come on. It makes us look like some crazy redneck cult.
