McFadden the face of NCAA 09

Arkansas running back Darren McFadden has been chosen to grace the cover of the Xbox version of NCAA Football ‘09 which is scheduled to arrive from EA Sports this July.

Before you go freaking out thinking that DMac just got screwed, take a deep breath and remember that it’s called the Madden Curse, not the NCAA Curse. Are you OK now? Good.

There’s still no word on the other three players who will face the covers of the PS3, PS2 and PSP versions of the game, however, the Wii cover will feature the winner of the Mascot Challenge and will be announced on March 18.

So head on over to the EA website and vote for Big Red and maybe this year we’ll have two Hogs in the hands of gamers across the world.
