Razorbacks win first NCAA Tourney Game Since Nolan’s Days

Holy damn, we finally did it.

John Pelphrey used Stephen Hill and Darian Townes together for a good portion of the game Friday night to neutralize Indiana’s inside game, and Sonny Weems had a career high 31 points to lead the Razorbacks past Indiana.

It was the first NCAA tournament win since I have no idea when for the Razorbacks, and the first for the six seniors on the team in their career.

Next up for the Razorbacks is a team widely considered to be the best in the country, and the favorite to win the NCAA tourney this year, North Carolina. And, the game is being played in North Carolina. Awesome.

The SEC went 3-3 in the first round of the tournament, with Arkansas, Mississippi State, and Tennessee all winning their opening match-ups, and Vanderbilt, Kentucky and Georgia all going home.

Go Razorbacks! Winning!
