Biggest weekend in Fayetteville history?

Ok, maybe not the biggest weekend ever, but there is definitely a whole lot of stuff going on over the next couple days. In fact, without the Fayetteville Flyer calendar, we don’t know how we’d keep it all straight.

First, the 1st annual Dickson St. Music Festival kicks off tonight with Charlie Daniels, 38 Special, and Shooter Jennings at either the Walton Art’s Center parking lot, or the Tyson Track center depending on the weather. Tomorrow night you can catch Sonic Youth, Michael Franti and Spearhead, and Little Feat.

Then, there are the Springfest festivities (which coincide with the Dickston St. Music Festival stuff) on Dickson St. tonight and tomorrow.

If that’s not enough action, also on Saturday, EAS Razorfest kicks off at Reynolds Razorback stadium, followed by the first Spring football game in the Bobby Petrino era at Arkansas.

And that’s just the big stuff. Are we missing anything? For a full list, check out the Friday and Saturday calendars. So, what are you guys doing this weekend?

There is a TON of music, and I couldn’t be more excited. A partial weekend schedule can be found here.

Where were all of ya’ll when I was painting the ceilings in my new house and packing? Oh yeah. Probably enjoying some waffle fries at the new Chick Fil A on 6th street.
