Art Amiss 8 is tonight

May 8, 2008 9:04 am · By Todd Gill · 0 Comments

Don’t forget that Art Amiss 8 is tonight at the Dickson St. Theater and Ozark Smokehouse Garden Room. The all ages, multi-media event starting at 5:00pm with a $5 admission charge.

This time around, more than 30 visual artists will be showcased along with musicians, filmmakers, fashion designers and a team of installation artists. Most of the event will take place at the Dickson Theater while film screenings of the top submissions from the 24 Hour Film Festival are planned for the Ozark Smokehouse Garden Room. Hopefully the screenings won’t be too loud for the cranky neighbors whose apartments sit right next to the garden.

There’s tons more scheduled for tonight’s event so if you’re interested in the local art scene even just a little bit, you’re sure to enjoy yourself this evening. For more information on Art Amiss, head over to artamiss.org and to view the 24 Hour Film Festival submissions right now, take a digi-trip over to the Art Amiss Vimeo page.

See ya tonight?
