Fayetteville residents and 6th Street chicken restaurant patrons will be happy to know that we are finally getting that sixth chicken restaurant we’ve been waiting for since #5 opened in Zaxby’s. This finally answers the question that so many of you have been asking for years now which is “How many chicken restaurants do we need on 6th street?” Well the magic number was right under your nose the whole time, dummy. It’s SIX. Duh.
In an effort to grab the business of anyone who was driving down 6th Street looking for some chicken but failed to stop at Chick-Fil-A, Charlie’s Chicken, Zaxby’s, KFC or Popeye’s, the owners of the Springdale-based chicken tender restaurant are locating their latest (and only other?) Rockin’ Chicken right across from Lowe’s.
Rockin’ Chicken has some pretty tasty tenders. But if what we were lacking chicken-wise on 6th street was more delicious tenders, I sure wish Slim Chickens had beat ‘em to the punch. I’d take a Slim’s Tender over a Rockin’ Tender any day.
What do ya’ll think? Will you eat there?

Of the six listed, Charlie’s is easily the best chicken spot down on chicken alley. Their nugs rules it.

The new Chick Fil A on 6th street (Chicken Alley).

God expects to drink beer at the new chicken place? Will it get a license?
Don’t tell anyone or Martin Luther King Boulevard may get boycotted.

Rockin’ Chicken gives free meals to all police men and women. And believe me — they do take advantage of this offer. However I have never seen the RC robbed so maybe it’s good business.
