Wade Ogle CD Release Tonight

Jun 26th, 2008 by the Steve

Longtime Fayetteville musician Wade Ogle will debut his first CD in over seven years tonight at the Dickson St. Theatre in Fayetteville.

“Songs from Winter” was recorded over winter 2007/08. It contains new songs, reworkings of a handful of songs from the Fort Destroyer demo, and songs written by Bob Dylan, Nick Cave and Mississippi Fred McDowell. The album was recorded at Wade’s home studio, and at Listen Laboratories in Fayetteville.

Stacy Liles & Cody Russell from Charliehorse, Brock Mitchell from Holy Ghost Children, Dustin Bartholomew from The Good Fear, Joe Katzbeck of the Boston Mountain Playboys, Matt Kesner from Wade’s former band the Delta Spacemen all contributed their talents to the record.

Doors open at 8:00 tonight, and Paul Boatright, formerly of Punkinhead, The Good Fear, and the Majesty will open the show. Admission is $5.
