Bacon in a can

By Wiff Rightly · July 4, 2008 2:09 pm · No comments

Back in January, we reported on the atrocity that is a cheeseburger in a can. When I first heard about the burger in a can, I thought to myself “if only this came with bacon, it would be perfect.”

I’m glad to report that the dream of pre-cooked bacon in a can has officially become a reality!

Now, when you open up that perfectly preserved canned burg, you can crack open a can of bacon, unfurl the pre-cooked, ready to eat bacon roll, toss on a few pieces and eat your canned food-loving heart out. It’s the next best thing to eating a thick burger from Hardees (aka The Home of Hepatitis A & B)

Bon apetite!

That camo design really helps bring out the sex appeal of this product too, doesn’t it?

Oh no…

More cans to fill our landfills.

Perhaps Coody can call a press conference requesting that all citizens re-fill their bacon cans instead of purchasing new ones.

Perhaps Fayetteville can offer bacon refilling stations at all city buildings.

We must find a way to minimize this new scourge to our environment!!

Green Valley, lead the way!

Hmmm….Was the can designed by a blind person? I thought the point of designing the packaging of products was to make them stand out, not blend in to the surrounding environment.

Or, perhaps it was with a twinge of regret they gave it the camo label. “Maybe they won’t notice we are trying to sell a can of bacon.”
