Did Club Froggy’s open last night?
According to Tuned In, Club Froggy’s was scheduled to open for business last night. So did it? We saw a few trucks driving in and out of the garden gates on Tuesday so something is definitely happening over there.
The July schedule is posted over at the Club Froggy’s MySpace page. While you’re there, check out the banner for some band called Egypt Central which features one of the funniest band promo photos we’ve seen. Wow.
Tonight, the Eoff Brothers Band is scheduled to play and tomorrow is Damn Bullets, The Memphis Pencils and The Good Fear.
So who’s got the word? Is Club Froggy’s officially open?

We try our best not to speculate on things, but we posted something because the Froggy’s people sounded pretty confident about opening. They were assembling the wood-oven pizza as we chatted.
Of course, they were going to open in May, too.
I got tied up with a writing project last night and didn’t make it. So I guess I’m saying I don’t know either.

I don’t know either. Eye witness reports from people drinking at Jose’s are saying they didn’t look open. But, they were probably drunk.

Those Egypt Central guys look like they could kick my ass, so I won’t even make the Backstreet Boys comparison that I was going to. Nice eyeliner.
