NCAA Football ‘09 tailgate party tonight

You’d have to be living under a rock not to know that Darren McFadden was chosen as the face of the Xbox360 version of EA Sports’ NCAA Football ‘09. Or not. Maybe you just don’t care. In that case, click here to start over.

For those of you who just can’t wait to get your hands on the game, you can head out to Best Buy on Joyce Blvd. tonight at 6pm for one of five official tailgate parties being thrown across the country. They’ll be giving away gift certificates, food-n-drinks and even an Xbox 360. Plus, word on the street is that Press Row’s own Vernon Tarver will be around for all the action.

Personally, I own a PS3 and therefore, won’t be buying this game because McFadden isn’t on that cover. Not that I have any beef with Matt Ryan or anything. I’m just not really a fan of sports video games in general so it would take a playable, McFadden-faced cover for me to spring for it. Just sayin’.
