According to a recent poll we conducted, it appears as though most of you are highly interested in seeing some mayoral candidate interviews here on the Fayetteville Flyer. Ask and you shall receive.
We’ve sent out requests to each candidate and we’ve already received a confirmation from Walt Eilers and Mayor Coody so look for those interviews soon. We’re still waiting to hear from Steve Clark and Lioneld Jordan but we only sent the requests out this morning so it’s still early.
In order to do this correctly, we need to at least contact each candidate but we’re having a helluva time finding any kind of contact information for Adam Fire Cat. And that’s where ya’ll come in. Who knows Adam? Does he have a campaign manager? A website? An e-mail address? Help us find Adam and we’ll do our best to help you learn a little more about him.
Ready? Set. Go!

Adam Fire Cat can be found hosting karaoke at You Know Uno’s on Dickson. You may remember him as Fire, the super-fast bus boy at the VI. He is also s science fiction/fantasy writer and once ran a lesbian escort service out of a house on Meadow St. He is quite a fascinating guy.
I could be mistaken about the lesbian part.

I’m sure that Kornedog has his phone number. Those two were pretty tight there for a while. Best friends and all.

He may have sold it, or I may be totally bat-shit crazy, but it would be hella sweet see his hearse driving around Fayetteville with some big bull-horns on top shouting VOTE FOR FIRE!
Yes we need to find him for an interview. Check Common Grounds, I see him there quite often.

On my last trip into town I noticed that Adam’s Hearse and his single mayoral campaign sign were parked in front of a house on the corner of Bel Air and N. Leverett Ave. It appears as though this is his residence. White house on the north side of Bel Air. A Flyer rep. should swing by. I’m sure Fire would be happy to greet some of his constituency.

Yeah I second that about the house on N. Leverett Ave. It is sort of across the street from the EZ Mart that is on the corner of Popular and Leverett. There are always some strange goings on there, a bunch of hearses parked outside, sometimes cop cars are parked there for a while. I bet this is as close as it gets to a campaign headquarters, there is a sign in the yard. This place would be perfect for an intrepid reporter to get a good scoop, I think video coverage would really do this story justice. I can see it all now, grab your camera, Jimmy, and go!

He has a website apparently that shares both his mayor promos and some kind of comic strip. They’re weird. But his site is at agirlnamedmars.com.
