Playboy pics Arkansas #19 in Preseason Poll

Last week, Playboy magazine released it’s annual top 50 poll, and if you like the Arkansas Razorbacks you’ll love this year’s predictions.

After being picked last in the SEC West by the media during SEC Media Days, and generally getting hated on by most of the national media most of the time (especially by the Tim Tebow network, ESPN), it’s pretty crazy to consider Playboy chose the Razorbacks 19th in the nation in their preseason poll.

That, and while most national sportswriters are choosing the Razorbacks to go 5-7, 6-6, or 7-5, Playboy thinks the new Bobby Petrino led team can go 8-4.

So, these guys are crazy, right? They let the Girls Next Door make the predictions maybe? Looking at the other predictions, they don’t seem that crazy. The top 5 are:

Oklahoma (12-0)
Ohio State (11-1)
Florida (11-1)
Missouri (11-1)
USC (11-1)

The only thing far fetched about that is that USC could be 11-1 with the same recored as Ohio State, Florida, and Missouri, and the national media would finish them below those teams. Otherwise, I could see it.

Though I DO Like that ranking as opposed to non-ranked…I think Playboy is a magazine that has clever articles, dirty jokes, and naked peoples in it. I am not sure how much credit I can give them. But, this means somebody works at Playboy in the football department, which would make that the most awesome job ever.
