Hogs Pay-Per-View confirmed
There’s been some rumors that Jeff Long would be addressing the topic of Hog football possibly being available on pay-per-view as early as this season. Looks like the rumors were true.
While in Little Rock to sign the new agreement over the War Memorial games today, Long said that pay-per-view games are coming as soon as this season. Of course, he couldn’t say exactly which dates would be offered since the SEC still hasn’t nailed down which games are already going to be on television.
Currently, SEC schools are only allowed to offer a maximum of two pay-per-view games per season and as of now, we’re only guaranteed one game. However, Long did say that a second game was likely to come through.
Pay-per-view is something we’ve all wanted for a long time. The word on the street is that our previous leadership was afraid such a thing would hurt ticket sales for those particular games. You know, because us Hog fans just hate getting out and supporting our team…err…wait a second. What?
We don’t know about you, but here at the Flyer, we can’t seem to get enough of our new athletic director. Jeff Long, will you have our babies?

While I’d like to say I am ready to have Jeff Long’s love child, I can’t forgive him for sending games south to LR for more years.
I am officially angry with him.
**** LR

I’ve always thought “home” games in Little Rock are ridiculous. Friendly environment or not, any game in Little Rock is a road game. I can’t hold Long’s decision against him, though. He inherited the problem, and besides, he’s done some impressive things since taking the helm.
