McFadden painting auctioned for charity
A local artist was able to help benefit the Arkansas Children’s Hospital this weekend by selling one seriously badass Darren McFadden painting at a Colors of Hope benefit auction at the Embassy Suites in Rogers on Friday.
Dell Chambers, a graphic designer out of Rogers, spent over 100 hours working on the McFadden piece using acrylics on canvas and a series of custom techniques that give the painting an incredibly realistic look.
According to a few of the photos over at Chambers’ website, the piece looks to have been autographed by Darren McFadden himself.
Word on the street is that the painting went for $4,200. Nice damn job, Dell. Nice damn job.
Check out more Dell Chambers artwork over at dellchambers.com including replica prints of the original DMac painting for sale. And while you’re there, make sure to ask him if there’s any truth to the rumor we’ve been hearing about a Felix “Bubble Butt” Jones painting that’s supposedly in the works.
