That pay-per-view promise we heard about last week is already upon us.
The U of A has announced the Arkansas-Louisiana-Monroe game on Sept.6, at War Memorial in Little Rock will be broadcast on a pay-per-view basis. Wow. Jeff Long wasn’t screwing around when he said it was coming soon, was he? That’s friggin’ next week.
“As we near a sellout in Little Rock, we wanted to give fans that are not able to attend the game the opportunity to watch Bobby Petrino’s first game in Little Rock as the Razorbacks’ head coach,” said Long.
It’ll cost you $34.99 and as of now, the game will only be available on cable systems in Arkansas and Louisiana. The availability in other states is currently in the hands of ESPN’s GamePlan who still has not released its schedule.
Only time will tell as to how well things will look when being broadcasted from shabby ole War Memorial Stadium. Could be sweet. Could be dumps.
Honestly though, for only $34.99, we’d watch it on our cell phones if we had to.
P-I-G. P-I-G. P-I-G. P-I-G, Sooooie!
