No sound on Hogs pay-per-view game?

Hey Awesome! We ordered today’s Arkansas Razorbacks football game against Louisiana Monroe on Cox pay-per-view and guess what? There’s no sound. Hmm, somewhere, somebody is crapping their pants and/or getting fired.

What’s that? Just turn on the radio? Well, that would be a great idea if it weren’t 5-10 seconds ahead of the video. In other words, we hear what happens before we see it. How pathetic.

What a great way to start the pay-per-view age in Hog land.

UPDATE 1: It’s 6:20pm and now it’s finally fixed. Phew

UPDATE 2: Holy crap. We only thought we had it bad an hour ago. At least we could SEE THE GAME. It is 7:20pm and the video has been scrambled for nearly 10 minutes straight now…except for the brief blackouts when the words “No Video Input” appear. Unbelievable. Refund please?

UPDATE 3: ISP Sports=Fail

I hope you plan to pursue a refund. That’s totally uncool.

We need some heads to role on this. It would have been carried on DirecTV but was blacked out because of the local PPV.

I’m with you on the refund..

The only other thing I would add is on the rare occasions the Video & Audio worked the picture quality SUCKED more than usual….

Frustrating

I knew the broadcast was going to be of poor quality, I expected there to be some things that they would need to work through with this being the first time they tried anything like this. But, I was totally surprised by how bad the broadcast was. There were some many things that didn’t work or were just wrong. And Clint Sterner, please be quiet.

Looks like I’m not the only one. That was the worst game-watching experience ever.
