Little Bread Company open again
It’s incredibly sad to see a great local business close its doors in Fayetteville. That’s why we’re super excited to hear that Little Bread Co. has re-opened. And to top it off, in just a few weeks, it will officially be an employee-owned co-op.
According to co-owner Hannah Withers, both the Fayetteville and Eureka Springs locations had to close in early August due to tax problems. After a group of friends pitched in to help pay the $15,000 which was overdue, the Fayetteville location was able to re-open on September 20.
The Eureka Springs location will stay closed.
Besides working on the by-laws necessary to become a co-op, Little Bread Co. is also preparing to add pizzas to the evening menu.
Congrats to the owners and thanks for bringing back a great new piece of Fayetteville.

I am so happy for Benjie and Hannah. I wish them many years of success. Economic times are very difficult for everyone right now and that does not exclude the food industry. I wish them much success and glad that they were able to reopen. I will miss them in Eureka!

Not to be a sourpuss, but let’s hope they pay their taxes this time around so that I can have my tasty baked treats on the weekends!
