Staff Pick’ems: UA vs. Kentucky

Win! Win!! Win!!! Pig Sooie and things! Hogs win 25-22 over Auburn! Who’da thunk it! Well, several of you did and Lankford, sheesh, a mere two points off from a perfect prediction. Auburn was definitely confused about the Tiger vs. Eagle thing, and it spilled over to their offensive production — which was apparently their worst showing all year. When it comes down to it, I don’t give a care. We won. We played hard. We rule.

Does it mean we’ve turned a corner? Maybe so. We thought the Florida game was a step in the right direction. The Auburn game might’ve been our breakthrough. Traveling to Lexington this week, COULD provide a letdown for Hog fans. The teams are pretty evenly matched, well, not really. But it’s surely not a game of two powerhouses. If we win, we’ll go to 2-2 in the SEC and will have four wins under our belt — which is THAT much closer to a bowl game. Nice.
