Looking for funny ecards?

I’m not a big fan of traditional holiday/birthday cards. You know, the kind that you would normally get for your Grandmother; The boring, sappy, decorative kind. It seems that every time I have to pick up a card at Target or the grocery store, I spend half an hour trying to find a card that is actually funny which, as most of you are quite aware of, is next to impossible. Because of this, I normally give up and settle on some dumbwitted card that pictures a cartoon dog in a smoking jacket talking about “getting some tail on your brithday” or something else equally as stupid. It’s frustrating.

Then, a few years ago, a friend send me a birthday ecard from someecards.com… and it ruled! Essentially, someecards.com specializes in making funny ecards that range from slightly inappropriate to completely wrong/horribly offensive. For someone like myself with a slightly twisted sense of humor, it’s perfect.

So, the next time your struggling to find a funny card, skip the stores and hit up someecards.com. I guarantee you’ll find something inappropriate to send to a friend, co-worker or loved one.

Did I mention that using someecards.com is free? I don’t think I did. Let me go reread what I just wrote… Ok, I didn’t. It’s free! You see, not only do we like to tell you about sweet websites here on the Flyer, but we like to save you, the Fayetteville Flyer reader, upwards of $3.75 in unnecesarry Hallmark card expenditures. You’re very welcome.

Note: Some ecards on the site have some rough language, so don’t go there if you’re put off by potty mouth language. Cool?

I have lost several friendships, jobs, and loved ones by the use of inappropriate cards from that website. I do not recommend it to those of you who lack any social restraint.

Yeah, it would be wise to exercise a little bit of caution when sending the cards out… and make sure the people you are sending them to have a good sense of humor. Otherwise, it could come back to bite you, much like it apparently did to Lankford.
