Romance Diamond Company robbed
A crazy guy with “nothing to lose and 10 months to live” is still on the loose, as police are still looking for the man who robbed Romance Diamond jewelry store on Dickson Street yesterday.
According to Romance Diamond employees, the robber was a white male between the ages of 30 and 40 with a slender build and stubbly facial hair wearing a dark heavy coat, a gray hat and glasses. He robbed the store around 10:30 am, and escaped through the back door with his look in a green bag “that resembled a Christmas bag.” Classy.
If any Flyer readers see someone matching this description, please call the police. Or karate kick the gun out of his hand and sleeper hold that S.O.B. until he passes out and haul him downtown to the slammer immediately.
The robber self-described himself as someone with “nothing to lose and 10 months to live,” and he is known to be brandishing a black handgun of some sort, so I guess that qualifies him as the definition of armed and dangerous. (Ok, maybe that karate-kick move probably isn’t such a good idea).
A composite sketch of the suspect is attached to this post. Anyone with information on the Romance Diamond robbery suspect should definitely contact the Fayetteville Police Department at 587-3555.

Is it just me or does the quote “nothing to lose and 10 months to live” sound like an early eighties movie trailer?
Should be coupled with “and a devil-may-care attitude!”

I’ll be sure to report anybody I see wearing a black and white horizontally-striped shirt, black pants, whose smoking a cigar, with a nasty scar on his left chin, and has roughly 20 hairs protruding from his otherwise bald head. Oh, and who’s wearing a black mask, too.
