Nutt did a lot for the program and there really is no denying that he loves Arkansas. Were we ready for a change, sure. He was too. Plus, I miss the excitement he brought to the game. I miss his rowdy southern football coach personality, which we will not see with Petrino. But that is about all that's missing from Petrino as a coach. We are way better off with Petrino. Nutt went 13 and 12 in the SEC while McFadden, Felix Jones and Hillis were together at Arkansas. As I heard an NFL commentator say, "how did they (the Hogs) ever lose with those three?" I watched it in disbelief. Can you imagine how many SEC wins the Petrino brothers would have had with those players? This is the telling stat.
