A little while back the U of A(me thinks) sent out one of its annual alumni magazines that had some old photos of college back from the 50&#039;s. Pretty neat stuff. 		<description>Here&#039;s an interesting tidbit: before Dickson street was an entertainment center, most of the rock and roll clubs were on Hwy 71, tho out in areas that were, at the time, on the north and south outskirts of town.  71 was the original artery that stretched from Bella vista down to Fayetteville tying together what at least one scholar of the Ozarks (Rafferty) called &quot;Northwest Arkansas City.</description>
