Sidewalks are frozen, streets are next

As of 9pm, the sidewalks across town are frozen solid and pretty much everyone walking around is having quite a bit of trouble. If it’s relatively flat, the walking is easy but once you come to an incline, things start getting silly.

We ventured out from the Garland/North Street intersection all the way up to campus and had to stick mostly to the grass since the sidewalks were iced over so thick. On the way back, however, the grass had started to freeze over as well. Yikes.

As for the roads, we didn’t see anyone sliding around in their vehicles but that’s probably only because there were so many of you guys out driving around. Once that stops, the roads will surely ice over, right?

We’re not weather experts but we have no problem suggesting that you stay inside for the rest of the night.
