Happy Groundhog Day!

Happy Groundhog Day everyone! Unfortunately, I’ve got some bad news for you. Despite suffering through one of the worst ice storms on record, it looks like we’ve got six more weeks of winter ahead of us.

I don’t think I’m alone when I say “NOOOOOOO!!!!”

You see, earlier this morning, the world renowned weather predicting groundhog and Pennsylvania native, Punxsutawney Phil, saw his shadow signaling six more weeks of winter weather until spring arrives. This is definitely not good news for us Fayettevillians as we’re all ready to see the end of winter. After all, it’s been a tough one.

So don’t put your winter coats away just yet and make sure you keep your ice scraper handy… the cold weather isn’t done with us just yet.

Despite Phil’s prediction, make sure you don’t drive angry today… and if you see Ned Ryerson, make sure to watch your step.
