We had power off and on from Tues to Tues. Luckily we had power for most of the nights, the days were just a little chilly. Time to buy more candles. Mmmmm BBQ.

We were without power in Goshen for eight days, almost to the hour. One of the reasons we moved here from Texas recently was to have four REAL seasons. Wow!

We were out of electricity for 2 days. We just broke out the candles and the coleman stove and bundled up under several blankets. We just helped our church friends and neighbors in West Fork and finally got electricity.

Tuesday, 6:20 a.m. – Wednesday, 6:30 p.m. Got overly excited about having juice and Internet and emailed the world about our good fortune so higher powers took it away again Friday, 4:30 p.m. – Saturday 5:00 p.m. Much humbler now and so very loving on/off buttons that produce results!!!

We lost power Tuesday morning at 8:30 and still no power. We will be at the bottom of the list. There are only two of us on the pole that is now on the ground.

I lost power randomly for a few days, but never more than 4 or 5 hours at a time. Living near power substations in the center of town possibly was an advantage. I still have friends staying at my place who don’t have power yet. They’re extremely irritated at this point.

Never fully lost power. We had some flickering Wednesday evening, and just about every streetlight on the block went off like gunshots, but we remained warm and lit.

only about two hours, but then we opened up a shelter of sorts for friends and family so it was still kinda like camping.

I was without power for 102 hours. The damage to my yard was horrible but I am blessed that my house wasn’t harmed. It wasn’t enjoyable to say the least.(O: I really feel for those that are still without.

I lost power for 69 hours aka about 3.2 days. It was rough, but we made it though with by increasing our alcohol consumption 100%. :)

I lost commercial power at 5:00am on Tuesday and it only returned at 12:00pm Sunday afternoon. My wife and I were confortable due the 15kw natural gas generator attached to the house which came on automatically when the power was lost and shut off when the power was restored. The car did suffer a direct hit from a large tree limb though.
