Free Pie at Village Inn today

Do you like free? Do you also like pie? If you like free, and pie, then you’ll love free pie! And, if you like free pie, and the Village Inn, then you’ll love free pie at the Village Inn.

Today only, Village Inn on College Avenue is having a pie rush. Everyone who comes in today gets a free slice of the pie of your choice with the purchase of anything. That means coffee, tea, The Ultimate Chicken Cordon Bleu Skillet Meal, whatever, if you buy something today you get a free slice of pie. Awesome.

It’s gray and gross out there. The Basketball Razorbacks suck. The global economy is in the gutter. If there is one thing that can help all three of those unfortunate situations, it’s free pie.

Thanks to of Dgold from Honest FM on KXUA for the tip. Eat some pie.

I think the Pie Rush is every Wednesday. And it’s just the fruit pies, not the yummy chocolate pecan deliciousness pie.

I’m a little embarrassed that I know that much about Village Inn. There aren’t a lot of places to get breakfast food at 1 pm on a Saturday.

Wow. Well, that makes it a little less awesome. Thanks halfdeserted.

I just found out about the Pie Rush from an ad in the Demo-Gaz today and sent it to @fvilleflyer on Twitter. Have to say halfdeserted was correct, but still, it’s free apple pie, which may prove useful in these times of economic turmoil.

On a related question, anyone got ideas for breakfast foods in the area of Mission & Crossover? Besides Sonic and Daylight Donuts, a little food at Arsaga’s, and Huevos at La Hurta, doesn’t that area need something with eggs, more like a Village Inn, Waffle House, IHOP, or if we’re lucky and local something wonderful like Common Grounds or Little Bread Company?

Dgold– Bizy’s has a yummy breakfast with eggs, bacon, and sausage, etc, if you’re willing to withstand the sometimes-awful service. I’d kill for a Little Bread Co over in that part of town though. Mmmm.

Holla, its depressing times out there.

Free pie sounds nice, if I wasn’t already rapidly becoming a Total Fat Bastard.

Hey halfhearted, I did not know that Bizy’s opens for breakfast. Thanks for that Highway 45 & 265 tip.

Dgold– Yep, it may only be on weekends though.
