To-Do Monday: 3/23/09

March 23, 2009 11:36 am · By Todd Gill · 2 Comments

Mondays are usually pretty slim on the live music front here in Fayetteville. Of course, Darren Ray is always at Pesto Cafe in the evening but that’s about it.

South by Southwest, however, is bringing in a few bands that might not have normally wanted to stop in Arkansas on Monday night.

For example, Hermit Thrushes, who was just here last week (see our interview), is coming back through town and will be at Smoke & Barrel Tavern along with Deastro, Grandchildren and Red Racket.

Over at George’s is Black Stone Cherry and locals Silverstone. Stone is the new black?

If you missed Hermit Thrushes at the New Deli the other night, now’s your chance to see what a few of our readers thought was a great show. Sans high-kicks.

Deastro will, unfortunately, not appear this evening due to a death in one of the member’s family.

Thanks, Evan. Updated.
