Live music at Springfest revealed…sorta

Some of you mentioned that the Springfest website is a little light on what the heck is happening entertainment wise, so we did some investigating and got a little more information on the bands playing on the various stages, and some of the other live entertainment on Dickson this weekend.

We kind of got the impression that the Springfest entertainment lineup is a little bit “fluid” at the moment. Nevertheless, here’s a little more complete list of the music / live entertainment that is happening at Springfest, and we’ll keep you posted if we hear about any changes.

I’m kind of sad Art Amiss isn’t doing anything this year. The mural last year was really fun.

And “Desert Fire” is a bellydance troupe, also, so I’m not sure if it’s two different troups (maybe they’ll dance-fight) or two sessions.

Yes, we need belly dancing and SCA. Throw in a bed race and you’re halfway home for Springfest.

The biggest attraction to me is an excuse to see the bars of Dickson in the daylight once a year.

if you can’t catch HOSTA at Terra Studios OR at Springfest on SATURDAY
- they are playing at Smoke & Barrel on Saturday night
w/ Real live tigers and Davids Pegasus for the NWA Equality Center Benefit show…

Or watch Hosta three times in the same day to have that theremin sound permanently burned into your brain. Become a Martian broadcasting tower. I don’t know.
