One meeeellion dollars
The sports side is giving the books side some allowance. In turn, there won’t be a UA tuition increase for the first time in 24 years. “UA athletics pledges $1 million to academics” (Flyer) or “UA athletics gives $1 million to support university’s academics” (NWA Times) or “UA Athletics Gives $1 Million To Support Academics” (Morning News). That’s a lot of different ways to say the same thing. Kinda.

Felony
Girl taken. Girl returned. Mom in trouble: “Hanna charged with felony after failing to return daughter” (NWA Times)

$2.7 million in the hole? Yikes.
Emergency plan? Shrinking revenue? This sounds eerily familiar: “Dollars declining: $2.7 million shortfall possible, mayor says” (NWA Times)

No Swine Flu … YET!!!
So far the tests are negative. Of course you can find out for yourself immediately at doihaveswineflu.org. Or read about it here: “Swine Flu Test Results Negative For Benton, Washington Counties” (Morning News)
