Arts, Events & Life

To-do: Wednesday 5/13

Well yesterday was interesting. The evening brought even more drama.

If anyone’s willing to brave the darkness, there are some things going on around town.

Ella’s has Jazz on the Hill with Opal Fly and George’s has Crazy Neighbor (Dustin’s favorite band name ever).

If you missed the opening performance of Fiddler on the Roof at the Walton Arts Center last night, you’ve got seven more chances to check it out.

Smoke & Barrel Tavern has the Skinny Squinty Show featuring Randy Soller.

Now’s the part where I rap:

Check, check, check it out. Yo:

Ella’s: Jazz on the Hill w/ Opal Fly Trio
George’s: Crazy Neighbor
Greenhouse Grille: 1oz Jig
Gypsy on College: Musician’s Jam Night
Smiling Jack’s Fresh Foods: Candy Lee
Smoke & Barrel: Skinny Squinty Show w/ Randy Soller
US Pizza Co: Keith Nicholson
Walton Arts Center: Fiddler on the Roof – 7pm

Fiddler on the Roof was fantastic! I was pleasantly surprised.

Is it Crazy Neighbor or 3 Penny Acre at George’s tonight?

According to Shannon Wurst of 3 Penny Acre, they’re playing tomorrow night at George’s. The calendar at georgesmajesticlounge.com agrees.

@skalmt Don’t be sorry. I saw that too and had to follow up to make sure we had the right date. Sometimes we don’t get dates right and it’s folks like you that help get that stuff corrected. Thanks!
