Bomb threat at Fayetteville City Hall

May 22, 2009 4:35 pm · By Dustin · 1 Comment

The Fayetteville City Administration Building was evacuated today after a bomb threat came in through the downstairs billing office.

We learned of the threat from mayor Lioned Jordan’s Facebook page.

Lioneld Jordan has had an interesting day. I loved delivering the Meals on Wheels and visiting with folks at the Fayetteville Senior Center. The bomb threat at City Hall, not so much.

After the evacuation, the building was cleared, and work has resumed as normal. That’s all we know at the moment. We’ll keep you posted.
