Hogs advance, take on LSU tonight in College World Series

The Razorbacks are on a roll.

After kicking the collective behinds of the competition in the Regional and Super Regional in the first couple rounds of the NCAA College Baseball championship, the Hogs went to Omaha as one of eight teams left in the country, and knocked off the second seeded Cal State Fullerton in the first round. It was no problem, really.

First baseman Andy Wilkins had 5 RBI’s on two hits, and the Hogs put a wompin’ on the Titans to advance to meet LSU today at 6:00 pm.

The game will be televised by ESPN2, and if (when) the Hogs handle the Tigers today, they’ll meet whoever emerges from the losers bracket on Friday.

The College World Series is a double elimination tournament, so it’s a little more complicated than some tourney formats. Luckily, he full bracket is available on the CWS website.
