According to weather.com, the skies are about to open up in Fayetteville. A flood watch has been issued for the area, with as much as 6-8 inches of rain predicted for much of Northwest Arkansas over the next two days.

As a result, the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce’s “Rockin’ With the Razorbacks” pep rally scheduled for Friday, Oct. 9 at the Arkansas Music Pavilion has been rescheduled for Friday, Nov. 6, before the South Carolina game at Reynolds Razorback Stadium on Nov. 7.

The family-friendly event will include a brief talk from UA Athletic Director Jeff Long and a pep rally. Coaches and athletes will be on hand for autograph and photo opportunities. Miss University of Arkansas, Amy Crain will be on hand as well, as will the Razorback mascot, Tusk II.

The event will be free and open to the public.
