Scull Creek Trail clean up scheduled for Wednesday

The Sidewalks and Trails Task Force will host a clean up of Scull Creek Trail on Wednesday, Oct. 14 from 3 pm to 6 pm as part of the Adopt a Trail Program.

According to Trails Coordinator Matt Mihalevich, the clean up was planned before the recent flood, however there is a much greater need for the clean up after the flood, especially in the creek.

The event is open to the public and boots are recommended for cleaning in and along Scull Creek. Trash bags and gloves will be provided by the City.

The clean up will focus on the section of Scull Creek Trail from Gregg Avenue south all the way to Poplar Street.

Parking is available on Quality Lane, located on the west side of Gregg Avenue, just south of Drake Street.
