Board selects Hight Jackson Associates for FHS revamp

After interviewing the five architectural firms selected as finalists competing to make the design improvements for Fayetteville High School yesterday, the Fayetteville School Board voted to enter into contract negotiations with Hight Jackson Associates, of Rogers.

Hight Jackson Associates will be lead Architect for the project but confirmed today that they’ll be teaming up with Marlon Blackwell of Fayetteville and DLR Group whose nearest office is in Overland Park, Kan.

Heritage High School

The firm has completed several projects for educational facilities including Heritage High School in Rogers, the Arend Arts Center at Bentonville High School, Elm Tree Elementary and Spring Hill Middle School in Bentonville.

Others competing for the project were Allison Architects, Concordia LLC/Polk Stanley/Fanning Howey, Crafton Tull Sparks, and Wittenberg, Delony & Davidson.

The board will select a construction manager for the project, following interviews of selected construction firms today.
