Photo: Todd GillShortcuts: Dickson Street business owners discuss parking issues
We had to leave yesterday’s Dickson Street Merchants meeting early but The Morning News’ Skip Descant was there for the long haul and has a story in today’s paper.
Those attending the meeting included Brian Crowne of George’s Majestic Lounge, Neal Crawford of Jose’s and the A&P Commission, Terri Trotter of Walton Arts Center, Mayor Lioneld Jordan and others.

Where is the library in all this? It’s only a few blocks away and could always use some extra cash.

BCC, are you saying the library should charge for it’s garage too?

@Johnathan – Sorry, didn’t see your question till just now.
I think that the library should charge after hours for Dickson St. parking.
It’s not that far to walk. And someone could make a pretty penny with those bicycle rickshaws.

@andrew Sorry about the link. I assume every link we’ve ever sent to The Morning News is now dead due to the merger.

Are there really rickshaws in Fayetteville now? I thought I dreamed that.
