Shortcuts: Terry Hayes seeks new trial

November 2, 2009 1:44 pm · By Todd Gill · 0 Comments

Terry Hayes is back in the news and is now asking for a new trial on claims that he suffers from a mental disorder.

After being convicted of holding a gun to his son’s head and threatening to kill a witness, the owner of Terry’s Towing fled the courtroom and disappeared into the Bikes, Blues & BBQ traffic back in late September.

He was captured about a week later by U.S. Marshals and was eventually given 40 years at the Arkansas Department of Correction.
