For anyone who didn’t make it out to the Bowerbirds show last night, you missed a radicool encore in the stairwell of the Student Union. No, seriously.

Speaking of the Student Union, you might consider heading there tonight. Christian Lander, the guy behind Stuff White People Like, is in town and will be speaking in the Union Ballroom about his website and book. Stuff White People Like #92: Book Deals.

Fayetteville-based music blog Ants in My Trance will host its first official dance party, Soul Glo, tonight at 11 pm at Speakeasy. The party is organized by (and will feature DJ sets by) AiMT editor Baby Armie (formerly Luminfire) and local artist/DJ Jöelle. There’s no cover and entry is 21+. Soul Glo will return in January as a monthly.

Songs in the ‘Ville is back tonight at the UARK Ballroom on Dickson Street. Joining Effron White in the round are Brandon White, Tiffany Christopher and Pearl Brick.

What else? George’s has Bassnectar, Smoke & Barrel Tavern has Matt Smith, Teatro Scarpino has Big Bad Gina and Ameroplace hosts CJ Boyd.

Here’s some more for ya:
