Shortcuts: Fayetteville police cracking down on seat belt violations

NWAhomepage.com is reporting that the Fayetteville Police Department is cracking down on all seat belt violations during its Click It Or Ticket campaign which starts today.

The campaign, which extends through Nov. 29, will include “saturation patrols” funded, in part, by a grant from the Arkansas Highway Transportation Department’s Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP).

Expect officers to intensify enforcement this week. Best wear those belts, folks.
