City issues release regarding Arvest Bank robbery and shooting
Matthew L. Andersen, 29, of Elkins was shot and killed by a Fayetteville police officer Wednesday during an attempted robbery at a local Arvest Bank.
Bank robbery suspect dead after being shot by police
The man who allegedly attempted to rob the Arvest Bank on Garland Avenue yesterday afternoon died after being shot by Fayetteville police while trying to escape the scene.
Old Wire Road annexation approved
The city council decided to annex a portion of Old Wire Road in a 6-2 vote on Tuesday night.
