To-do: Dec. 21-25

December 21, 2009 12:24 pm · By Todd Gill · 7 Comments

When looking at the calendar on Monday, it became immediately evident that there couldn’t possibly be a daily to-do post for each day this week.

With only ten things listed for the next five days, we’re left with only one choice and that’s to make a to-do for the entire week of Dec. 21-25. No big deal. Here we go.

For starters, make a toast to the Fayetteville Flyer this evening if you think of it. Today is our second birthday and we’ve officially entered our terrible twos. Expect lots of screaming, crying and disrespect for authority over the next dozen months. Don’t worry, it’s a normal part of the developmental stage.

There’s Metal Monday at Smoke & Barrel Tavern with Deadeye Jack, Dragon Sunday and Antarctichrist. Also , Charliehorse Duo is at JJ’s Grill Monday night.

As usual, there’s live jazz at Scarpino’s Tuesday. Plus, TheatreSquared’s ‘Twas The Night is at 7:30pm.

‘Twas The Night also has a Wednesday night show. Speaking of Wednesday, Greenhouse Grille has Beth Stockdale playing some Xmas harp while Kris Lager & Jeremiah Weir’s Electric Stomp rocks at Smoke & Barrel.

Finally, on Thursday, Scott Leeper (Ben Miller Band) is playing a Christmas Eve show at Smoke & Barrel.

Friday is Christmas. Deal with it.

And that’s all we’ve got. As always, if we missed something, let us know.

There’s a mistake.
December 25 is scheduled as “nothin,” but that must be a mistake.
Surely everyone remembers the significance of Dec. 25?
It’s James Brown Day!
