Shortcuts: University of Arkansas faces budget cuts

KFSM reported last week that the University of Arkansas would be looking for ways to trim its budget after the state announced a reduction in 2009-2010 appropriations by $2,668,194.

KFSM says that in the last 18 months, the state has cut appropriations for the university by $10 million and tht half of the cuts came after the UA approved its 2009-2010 budget.
