Shortcuts: No charges in UA basketball rape case allegations
KNWA is reporting that the special prosecutor appointed to investigate whether any crimes were committed by three UA basketball players accused of sexual assault says there is not enough evidence to file any charges.
“I have completed my review of the matter,” wrote special prosecutor H.G. Foster in a letter to Judge William Storey. “Based upon the investigation of the University of Arkansas Police Department , test and reports of the Arkansas State Crime Lab, and other information developed in the case, it is my finding that there is not sufficient evidence to warrant the filing of a criminal charge.”
In a statement released on behalf of the players accused – Marcus Britt, Glenn Bryant and Nick Mason, the three say they believe an apology is due.

LETS GO HOGS!

Wow, InPel, this probably isn’t the forum for that sort of boosterism. Sadly typical of many Hogs fans. I back the Hogs athletic programs (see you at the Auburn game!) and graduated from the U, but… show a little decency, man.

OK, that is a good point and I seriously resent that our players were involved in a situation that even if they didn’t commit a crime cast the program in a bad light. With that being said our players voluntarily submitted DNA samples, were exonerated with modern science, so why judge these young men? They were disciplined, and I trust that Pelphrey, his coaches, and the UA Athletic program has helped these student-athletes realize why being in that situation was not only bad for the program but bad for them and they improve as humans and student-athletes.

Why is this not the forum for that sort of boosterism? These young men were wrongly accused according to all of the investigations and our team is finally looking like they know how to play basketball.
