The Arkansas baseball team improved to 24-6 during an 8-3 win over Mississippi State Friday in Starkville, Miss. The win was coach Dave Van Horn’s 300th at Arkansas.

A controlled burn conducted Friday at Lake Fayetteville was a success according to Lindsley Smith, the city’s communication director.
