A police-estimated crowd of around 600 people gathered on the Fayetteville Town Center plaza Thursday morning to take part in a Tax Day Tea Party. The event was organized in part by the Washington County Tea Party.
Speakers included Dick Morris, Todd Sharp, Teresa Oleke, Laurie Masterson, Lepaine McHenry and Tom Lundstrum Sr.

Other cities in the state with similar scheduled events include Rogers, Fort Smith, Little Rock, Jonesboro, Harrison, Hot Springs, Mountain Home and El Dorado.
