The Black Crowes coming to the AMP Oct. 2

By Todd Gill · April 22, 2010 2:47 pm · 2 Comments

This summer marks the 20th year anniversary of The Black Crowes’ 1990 debut release “Shake Your Money Maker.”

So what are they doing to celebrate? They’re releasing their first ever double album of all acoustic material in August and they’ll be touring like maniacs.

And yes, they’re coming back through Fayetteville on that tour. October 2 at the AMP, in fact.

They were in our neck of the woods last June for Wakarusa, and before that, at the AMP in August ’08.

No word yet on ticket information. If you just can’t wait, though, you could always check arkansasmusicpavilion.com over and over and over. It’ll be there eventually.

Crowes with Luther Dickinson (North Mississippi Allstars guitarist) are jamming on fire.

Here is a youtube with concert photography and footage from The Black Crowes playing at Wakarusa 2009 last summer:

Listen for lots of live Crowes music on my radio show in the weeks leading up to their next appearance at The AMP.

Rock on Fayetteville Flyer folks.
