It’s milkshake Monday which means today’s the day you convince your boss to treat your office/team/group (whatever you call it there) to milkshakes later in the day. Use phrases like, “It’ll give us something to look forward to on Mondays” and “It’ll boost morale for the rest of the week.” If it doesn’t work, try again next week. If it does, you owe me a milkshake, buddy.
Question: What’s your favorite milkshake destination in town? Shakes? Steak-N-Shake? Mr. Burger?
Tonight’s pickins are slim. That happens sometimes on Mondays, especially this time of year.
Here’s what we’ve got:
Sarah Hughes at U.S. Pizza. She’s likely scheduled to be playing on the patio. In case you didn’t know, U.S. Pizza has one hecka good patio.
Aside from that, Darren Ray may or may not be playing at Pesto Cafe tonight. He’s usually the Monday evening entertainment, but his internet website doesn’t agree this time. Hey, if you get there and he’s not around, have some dinner anyway. The tortellini primavera is delish.
Here’s the full list. Let us know what we missed.

Hate to pick a chain but Steak n Shake is hard to beat, especially during their 2-for-1 happy hours.
I discovered their happy hour last week on my way back from Best Buy. I think my shake was around $1.70. Not bad at all.
Brenda’s chocolate malts are good. Barnett’s Dairyette (Siloam Springs) makes a chocolate malt that is almost worth the trip.
@ David Franks – No doubt. Barnett’s is the best.
The Truth–
You’re right, particularly if the malts I had at the Sunnyside Truck Stop in Clarksville when I was a kid are the benchmark. If you’re in Fayetteville, Brenda’s malts are good enough make the drive to Siloam Springs unnecessary. Of course, if you’re going to Siloam anyway…
Susie Q is a good one on the way back from the lake.
