Giveaway: Indigo Girls at the AMP
Indigo Girls Photo: Jeremy CowartThis giveaway has ended. Winners will be notified shortly. After confirmation, a list of winners will be posted on our blog.
The Walton Arts Center’s first ever Artosphere Festival is in full swing, and as part of the new festival dedicated to “celebrating artists, influenced by nature, who help inspire us to live more sustainable lives,” the WAC and the folks at the AMP are bringing the Indigo Girls to town soon.
The Indigo Girls are known for their environmental work. Among lots of other things, they helped establish an organization called Honor the Earth, dedicated to creating support and education for native environmental issues.
Aside from that, Amy Ray and Emily Saliers have released 12 studio albums together, multiple solo projects, and, in general, are famous as hell. Y’all don’t need me to tell you who the Indigo Girls are.
What you do need me to tell you is that we’ve got two pairs of tickets to give away to the show. Try to win them.
How to enter
Leave a comment telling us what your favorite Indigo Girls song or album is, and you’re entered. If you don’t know any Indigo Girls songs, or you can’t pick a favorite, or if you’re unbelievably lazy but you’d still like to go to the show, just leave a comment that says, “crazy dog.” Entered.
What you’ll win
Two winners will receive two tickets each to the Wednesday, May 26 Indigo Girls show at Arkansas Music Pavilion.
A few rules (read ‘em carefully):
- You may enter this specific contest once.
- This contest is open to anyone anywhere except Fayetteville Flyer writers, Arkansas Music Pavilion employees, Walton Arts Center employees, and their immediate family members.
- Contest is open until 5:00pm CST on Tuesday, May 18.
Make sure you leave a valid e-mail address when filling out the comment form since that’s how we’ll contact you if you’ve won - You’ll have to provide us with your first and last name (if you win) and then be prepared to show a valid photo ID when picking up your tickets.
Thanks to the AMP for sponsoring this contest. For more information about this performance or to purchase tickets, visit arkansasmusicpavilion.com.
